After receiving a degree in Business Management from Sacramento State, David entered the Aviation Officer Candidate School in the United States Navy. After leaving the Navy, David later became a pilot for Continental Airlines and now flies for United Airlines. In 1991, David began purchasing land for commercial development where he transformed big box retail centers into smaller spaces designed for tenants requiring less square footage. In particular, he was able to revitalize many of the Kmart buildings that were left vacant when the company began closing their stores in Texas. From there, he branched out into office, retail, medical office, express car washes, and assisted living facilities. Over the last twenty-five years, David has completed, owned, and operated over 80 developments in the Houston area valued over 300 million dollars.
